Costume Design Course

Lauren took a costume design course where she worked on a variety of creative and technical projects that showcased her ability to conceptualize and visualize costumes for theatrical productions. One of her major assignments included designing and rendering six characters for Everyman and Everybody. She also completed projects such as the "Nefertiti" project, which involved using collage techniques to create imaginative headpiece designs. This project emphasized the functional and symbolic role of hats in concealing hair. These experiences allowed Lauren to develop her understanding of costume design as a storytelling tool.
